Privacy Policy

The short version: AgentRobbi runs entirely on your machine. We don't collect, store or transmit your chats, files or prompts. The only personal information we ever see is the email address you give Stripe at checkout — used for receipts, your download link, and licence validation. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party advertising scripts.

1. Who We Are

AgentRobbi is published by [ so.design ], an Australian sole-proprietor business operated by Marc Gough. You can reach us at support@agentrobbi.com.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 From the website (agentrobbi.com)

  • Purchase information. When you buy AgentRobbi, Stripe collects your name, email and payment information. We receive only your email address (to issue your download link and licence) and a Stripe Customer ID. Card details, billing addresses and tax-residency data live with Stripe and we never see them.
  • Email correspondence. If you email support@agentrobbi.com we keep your messages and our replies for as long as is reasonable to provide ongoing support.
  • Server logs. Cloudflare keeps standard web-server logs (IP address, request path, response code, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are not used for advertising or profiling.
  • No analytics, no tracking pixels. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar or any similar product. The site loads no third-party scripts other than the Stripe Checkout redirect.

2.2 From the Software (agentrobbi.exe)

Two and only two outbound network calls are made by the Software itself:

  • Licence check. Once on first launch and once every 24 hours, the Software calls https://agentrobbi.com/api/license/check with your licence key, the AgentRobbi version string, and your operating-system family (e.g. "Windows 11 x64"). It receives back a valid / revoked status. No chat content, no file content, no prompts, no model names are sent. If the network is unavailable, the Software keeps working for a 7-day grace period.
  • Optional catalogue refresh. If you have an active Updates Pass subscription, the Software refreshes the AgentRobbi model catalogue from https://agentrobbi.com/api/catalogue. The request includes your licence key. The response is a JSON list of vetted models — the same data, just kept current.

Everything else stays on your machine. No telemetry. No crash reports auto-uploaded. No "anonymous usage data". If you opt to configure a cloud provider (OpenRouter, OpenAI, Groq, etc.) and route a chat to it, that turn goes to the provider you chose with the API key you supplied — we are not in the middle.

3. Where Your Local Data Lives

All AgentRobbi user data is stored under %USERPROFILE%\Documents\AgentRobbi\:

  • memory.db — your chat history, runner configurations and Memory entries (SQLite + FTS5 index)
  • vault.enc — your API keys and other secrets, encrypted with PBKDF2-SHA256 + AES-256-GCM
  • models\ — your downloaded GGUF model weights
  • runners\ — your custom runner Markdown files
  • config\settings.json — your preferences
  • logs\ — rotating local log files (kept for 7 days, then auto-deleted)

You can view, back up, export or delete any of these files at any time. They never leave your computer unless you explicitly do so.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your email address solely to:

  • Send your purchase receipt and download link;
  • Send you your AgentRobbi licence key;
  • Reply to support emails;
  • Notify you about important security or licensing changes (you can opt out of non-essential notifications by emailing us).

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing.

5. Third-Party Services We Rely On

  • Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd — payment processing. Stripe privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — DNS, CDN and edge hosting for agentrobbi.com and the Pages Functions that serve the licence-check and catalogue endpoints. Cloudflare privacy policy.
  • GitHub — release-binary distribution. The download link in your purchase email points to a GitHub Releases asset. GitHub will see your IP address when you download. GitHub privacy statement.
  • No AI providers in the middle. We do not run any AI inference servers, and we do not relay your chats to any AI provider. The local engine runs on your machine; the optional cloud routing connects directly between your installation and your chosen provider using your own API key.

6. Data Retention

  • Email address & licence record: retained as long as your licence is active, plus 7 years for Australian tax-record purposes. You can request earlier deletion by emailing us; your licence will be revoked at the same time.
  • Stripe purchase metadata: retained by Stripe per their policy.
  • Support email correspondence: retained for up to 2 years after the last reply.
  • Cloudflare server logs: retained for 30 days for security purposes.
  • Local AgentRobbi data: stored on your machine until you delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (which is essentially: your email address, your purchase metadata and your licence record);
  • Request that we correct any inaccuracy;
  • Request deletion of your data (this will revoke your licence);
  • Object to a particular use of your data;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been mishandled.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@agentrobbi.com from the address you used at checkout.

8. Children's Privacy

AgentRobbi is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Cookies

The agentrobbi.com website does not set any first-party cookies. Stripe Checkout (which runs on a separate Stripe domain during purchase) sets its own session cookies that are essential for processing your payment.

10. International Transfers

[ so.design ] is based in Australia. Our infrastructure providers (Stripe, Cloudflare, GitHub) operate globally. Your purchase metadata may be processed in the United States by Stripe and in the United States, Europe or other regions by Cloudflare. By purchasing AgentRobbi you consent to this transfer.

11. Security

Because AgentRobbi runs locally, the security of your AgentRobbi data is largely the security of your Windows machine. We strongly recommend:

  • Keep Windows up to date.
  • Enable BitLocker or another full-disk encryption for your drive.
  • Set a strong account password.
  • Set a strong vault passphrase the first time you save an API key.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in legal requirements. The "Last updated" date above will be revised when we do. Material changes will be announced via your registered email address.
